On July 7th at Sonia Vihar Dhai Pusta Park, a program was hosted by the MP Manoj Tiwari. NAMAMI Gange Project started on the same day and at the bank of the river Yamuna, actor and area’s MP Manoj Tiwari planted the tree.
These days the public water is coming very late. Often it comes around 6 Pm in the evening but these days it is coming on 8 PM so it is making lots of problems.
Sonia Vihar Water treatment plant is located in our community but still we are facing the problems.

Bhagat Ji Ka Mandir at Sonia Vihar is an important landmark. This temple is located in the first pusta and very famous as it is one of the oldest temples of Sonia Vihar. This temple is located on the circular road of Sonia Vihar. Indian Bank is also located on the same road.
Bhagat Ji Ka Mandir has many statues of God and Goddess. Numbers of people from Sonia Vihar visited to this temple for the prayer.

Just see this image and you can feel the royal weather at the Sonia Vihar Yamuna Beach. I captured this photo last evening when I was on the round of Sonia Vihar Yamuna Beach with Chesta Khulbe, my daughter. The tiny drops of rains were also there and the clouds were making great scene. It was the best weather for outing.
Chesta is very fond of ice-cream. Her favorite flavor is vanilla but she is also fond of Bharka Devi Ice-cream. This picture captured near the bank of the River Yamuna in Sonia Vihar when she was enjoying her ice-cream cone.

In the early morning around 6.30am a gangster from UP killed by the Delhi Police. The incident was held at zero pusta of Sonia Vihar. The name of the gangster was Firoz.
Sonia Vihar hosted a colourful Janmastami Festival at the zero pusta near the bank of the river Yamuna. The artists from the Mathura and Vrindavan presented a great Janmastami jhankis. The decoration was great.

I am planning to send my child to the aaganbari for the elementary education in Sonia Vihar. There are numbers of aaganbari located in our colony but few of them have the basic facilities. Can anyone tell me about the overall Facilities in the Aaganbari for Children in Delhi offered by the Government of Delhi?
Sonia Vihar Yamuna Beach is a perfect place for the outing. You can do a small picnic near the bank of the River Yamuna in Sonia Vihar. Every Sunday, my friends used to visit to this place for a nice get-together. We performed small party by eating momos, chaat etc every Sunday.
The condition of the circular road nallah in Sonia Vihar is very poor. The dirty water is flowing on the road and the people of the Sonia Vihar are facing very poor sanitation conditions. Sometimes the dirty water also mixed with the drinking water supplied by the pipe lines of the Delhi Jal Board.
There is a strong need to make a proper drainage system in the Sonia Vihar so that the people can get the healthy and safe environment.
