My Field Work Traning at Bal Sahyog

Hi guys…

We are here for discussion about our field work training. I hope that you all have completed this great job. I just completed my field work this week in the Bal Sahyog, one of the leading NGOs working in Delhi. This NGO is founded by Smt Indira Gandhi and Prime Minister is the chief patron of this NGO.

Well, this NGO is allotted by our course supervisor Mr. Prashant Choudary. In the field work, Mr. Mannu Singh was our field work supervisor (FWS). Mr. Mannu Singh is a well trained, qualified and professional social worker. He has a MSW degree. At present he is a superintendent of Bal Sahyog Home.

In our field work training, I learnt lots of things about child physiology. As this NGO primarily works on the child health, education and rehabilitation, so I learnt great experience about how to deal with children about their education, career and other facts.  In my training day, I used to play with children. There are numbers of games I played with the children. But cricket is the popular game in this home. Volleyball, badminton and carom board are the other games.

Bal Sahyog is a great NGO working in Delhi. Here are necessary details about this NGO.

HI guys…

Well it was my fourth day in the Bal Sahyog. I am enjoying my MSW training very much. Today I started working with the students having age group of 8-10 years. It was a good experience. I played some local games with little kids. In the lunch session, we helped students to get lunch. After lunch, we played cricket with the students.

My Second Day Visit at Bal Sahyog

It was my second day visit at the Bal Sahyog, one of the largest orphanage located in the heart of the Central Delhi Connaught Place. I and my friend Amit was very excited to join the group of children again. We have got some new friends here. Saif, Aakash, Jitu, Sharawan was some of them. Today we started our work from computer class. There was a group of class VI in the first session. All the students were doing painting on the MS paint. Some students asked us about how to use tools in the MS paint. Some students touched my heart emotionally. Some students were very eager to learn about new things. They asked me about the geography and history. I asked them about the favorite subject and almost all replied about English. It was a lunch session around 1.30 PM. The food quality at the Bal Sahyog is very excellent. All the meal was very superior to have good health. After lunch session, we again joined the class. We also visited the hostel and found that all the facilities were superior. I am feeling very happy to provide some general education to these students living in the Bal Sahyog.

All the staff members in the NGO are very supportive having pleasant personality. I am sure I will learn good social work skills.
